Martin Wodak
Martin co-founded Aeiphoria Capital in early 2021 and works actively as managing partner. He studied business administration at the Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU). Since the year 2000, Martin has been involved in 20+ investments in diverse industries ranging from construction materials to high tech. Before starting Aeiphoria, Martin was co-leading the sale of BIA Separations d.o.o. as CFO and speaker of the majority shareholder. The biotech company was sold for a valuation of €350mn+ in 2020.
At Aeiphoria, he is responsible for deal-sourcing and investment management and contributes his experience in private equity and finance.
Dr. Thomas Maidorfer
Thomas co-founded Aeiphoria Capital in early 2021 and works actively as managing partner. He holds a Doctoral Degree in corporate strategy from Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU), where he is still teaching and leading a university initiative (“Wiener Strategieforum”). Following a career in strategy consulting, he started up his own real estate development business. Over the past 10 years, he gained extensive investment know-how and built up a portfolio of €20mn+ in real estate.
He is well experienced in building and growing companies.
At Aeiphoria, he is responsible for strategy and company building and brings in his entrepreneurial experience and hands-on mentality.
Felix Porsche
Felix co-founded Aeiphoria Capital in early 2021 and works actively as managing partner. He studied International Business at Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU). Coming from an entrepreneurial family, he started to be active as a business angel in 2015 and built up a startup portfolio of 10+ investments in FinTech, Artificial Intelligence, and impact projects. In these areas, FinLeap, Tawny, and Auticon stand out in particular.
At Aeiphoria, he is responsible for project management and communications and capitalizes on his venture capital experience and insights into the corporate world.
Michael Blaschke
Michael has been a Senior Advisor for Aeiphoria Capital since mid-2021. He studied business administration at the Vienna University of Economics and Business and began his career in management consulting in 2011 with a focus on strategy development, (re) organization and performance improvement. In the past 10 years he has accompanied companies from the energy industry, industrial and consumer goods production and retail in over 25 projects. At Aeiphoria, Michael brings the expertise he has gained in the operational management and further development of the portfolio companies.
Dr. Alexander Frech
Alexander has been a Partner of Aeiphoria Capital since mid-2022. He studied business administration at the Duale Hochschule Baden-Würtemberg Lörrach, Germany, and received his MBA from the University of Toronto, as well as from the University of St Gallen (HSG). Alexander started his professional career in retail, where he proved himself as an excellent reorganizer, business developer and leader in various markets (Germany, Italy, Romania, Austria). He was able to prove and develop these skills in his further positions at the Austrian Post, as well as CEO of Amiblu. At Aeiphoria he is responsible for the operational management and business development of the portfolio companies.
